Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks an advanced independent researcher to plan, coordinate and execute complex neuroscience projects in the Division of Neurology. You will work with the Principal Investigator, lead data analyses, develop pipelines, and contribute to manuscripts and grant proposals.

The ideal candidate will have extensive post-graduate lab experience, strong skills in signal processing, machine learning, and coding, and will mentor students and staff while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Eight or more years of post-graduate lab experience required.
• Experience in neuroscience research and related software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in high-value basic or translational research.
• Work with the Principal Investigator to plan and execute projects.
• Develop data acquisition and analysis pipelines and manuscripts.
• Train students and staff in lab procedures.
• Contribute to grant proposals and budgeting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and federal guidelines.
• Manage data storage and reproducible analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on projects.
