Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Research Senior Associate to join Dr. Peter Chockley's lab in the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology Research Center.

You will support assays, data analysis, and lab operations under the PI, with opportunities for independent projects. Ideal candidates have immunology or immunotherapy experience, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology skills, and strong organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience applying biological/health science knowledge in a research or clinical research setting, preferably immunology or immunotherapy.
• Demonstrated experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques (PCR, Western blot)
• Familiarity with research compliance (IRB/IBC/IACUC), data privacy, and biosafety requirements.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist lab members and perform assays under PI direction.
• Support inventory management and lab operations.
• Ensure protocol compliance and biosafety requirements.
• Analyze data and prepare reports.
• Contribute to independent projects if opportunity arises.
