Job Description

Objective / Purpose:

The Global Biologics Biological Generation and Analytics team seeks an enthusiastic, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join us. The position involves contributing to the team by identifying binding interactions through various techniques and independently analyzing data. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, troubleshooting as needed, and actively participating in program teams to develop analytical strategies. Effective communication skills and the ability to work within cross-functional teams are essential.

Accountabilities:

Determine Binding Interactions:

  1. Conduct experiments to determine binding interactions using various binding techniques such as SPR, BLI, and ELISA.
  2. Independently assess and interpret experimental data to ensure accuracy and validity.

Design and Execute Experiments:

  1. Design experiments tailored to project needs, ensuring alignment with scientific objectives.
  2. Execute experiments and troubleshoot any issues that arise, optimizing protocols as necessary.

Contribute to Program Teams:

  1. Collaborate with program teams to design and implement analytical strategies that meet project goals.
  2. Provide scientific input and support to ensure cohesive strategy development and execution.

Cross-Functional Communication:

  1. Effectively communicate findings, results, and strategies with cross-functional teams.
  2. Participate in meetings and discussions, providing insights and updates on analytical progress.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Work as an integrated and contributing team member, supporting team objectives and fostering a positive team environment.
  2. Share knowledge and expertise to assist in team development and success.

Education & Competencies (Technical and Behavioral):

  1. BS in scientific discipline with 3+ years experience
  2. MS or equivalent with 1+ years experience
  3. At least 2 years industry experience
  4. Be energetic and enthusiastic team player
  5. Experience in SPR, BLI required, Carterra preferred but not required
  6. Ability to troubleshoot experiments and do method development required
  7. Other biophysical capabilities such as cIEF, CE-SDS, SEC, NanoDSF, mass spectrometry preferred

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$84,000.00 - $132,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
