Job summary

The Fountain Group in San Carlos, CA is seeking a scientist to support the analytical and functional characterization of antibodies and derivatives. The role involves designing and executing experiments using SEC-HPLC, SEC-MALS, CEX-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, MSD, and ELISA.

You will compile and review data, prepare presentations for project teams, and write SOPs and technical documents while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and training staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience or Master’s with 2+ years experience.
• Strong background in protein analytics techniques (SEC-HPLC, SEC-MALS, CEX-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, MSD, ELISA).
• Experience independently designing and executing experiments.
• Experience reviewing data and creating/presenting PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience writing SOPs and other technical documents.

Job description

This position is located in San Carlos, CA 94070.

Job Details

• Pay: $34 - $45/hr to Start!!
• 6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday 1st shift
• Position will be mainly responsible for supporting the analytical and functional characterization of antibodies and antibody derivatives.
• Position will design and execute experiments using protein analytical techniques such as SEC-HPLC, SEC-MALS, CEX-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, MSD, and ELISA.
• Position will compile and review experimental data, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and present findings to project teams.
• Position will write and review SOPs and technical documents, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and train technical staff.
