TalentBurst is seeking a Senior Research Associate in San Carlos, CA to support analytical and functional analysis of antibody therapeutics. You will work on developing and implementing assays to characterize antibodies and derivatives, with exposure to drug development from research through manufacturing.

Responsibilities include planning and performing analytical techniques, data analysis, SOP development, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required.
• 3 years of experience (Bachelor's), 2 years (Master's) preferred.
• Experience with a range of analytical techniques and project teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform analytical techniques (SEC HPLC, SEC MALS, CEX HPLC, SDS PAGE, CE SDS, MSD, ELISA, in vitro and cell-based assays).
• Compile, analyze, and review test data for study reports and present PowerPoint presentations.
• Develop, write, and review SOPs and other technical documents.
• Coordinate activities with functional groups and project teams.
• Discuss experiments and present data to team members.
• Mentor and train other technical staff.

Job description

Title:Senior Research Associate

• Location: San Carlos, CA
• Duration: 7+ Months

Seeks a talented, highly motivated Senior Research Associate to support the analytical and functional analysis of our diverse antibody therapeutics pipeline, including the development and implementation of analytical and functional assays for characterizing antibodies and antibody derivatives. This position will offer exposure to drug development, from early research through development/manufacturing, with ample opportunity to learn new methods, design experiments, and present your work.

Primary responsibilities for role:

• Plan for and perform a wide range of experimental analytical techniques, including SEC HPLC, SEC MALS, CEX HPLC, SDS PAGE, CE SDS, MSD, ELISA, in vitro functional assays, and cell-based functional assays
• Compile, analyze, and review test data for study reports and prepare & present PowerPoint presentations
• Develop, write, and review standard operating protocols and other technical documents
• Coordinate activities with functional groups and project teams
• Discuss experiments and present data to project team members
• Mentor and train other technical staff

Knowlege, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in several of the following protein analysis techniques: SEC HPLC, SEC MALS, CEX HPLC, SDS PAGE, CE SDS, MSD, and/or ELISA
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to design and execute experiments with minimal technical supervision.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated flexibility and problem-solving activities
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
