Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of research methodologies and data interpretation.
• Experience writing reports and grants.
• Experience supervising staff or students.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Ability to develop and implement study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design research and data collection procedures.
• Conceptualize, initiate, and execute research goals for project.
• Conduct and coordinate advanced research studies.
• Analyze and interpret data and refine study design.
• Develop and write advanced study protocols.
• Evaluate current developments and research findings for applicability.
• Replicate, refine and add/develop new research approaches as needed.
• Advise on new direction for research based on results.
• Monitor project developments and implement changes as needed.
• Prepare, organize, and communicate research results.
• Write papers, grants and other documents for publication.
• Author and co-author articles for publication and present at scientific symposia and conferences.
• May supervise or lead lower-level staff.
• Guide, train and advise researchers and students on methods.
• Plan, assign and review work to meet objectives.
• Hire, train and manage staff to ensure qualified team.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects.
