Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Requirements Management Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA to lead end-to-end requirements within complex systems engineering domains and support SETA for the NRO.

You will coordinate requirements across diverse stakeholders, apply Agile practices with Jira and Confluence, and help define data standards and tools to modernize GED's engineering capabilities while communicating results to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics) or Project Management with extensive relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly
• Experience in requirements management, including elicitation, decomposition, traceability, verification, and validation across technical and programmatic domains.
• Strong familiarity with Agile development frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience developing and standardizing data models and data governance frameworks.
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills with ability to lead diverse working groups and communicate with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, analysis, and documentation of systems engineering requirements ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
• Coordinate enterprise-level requirements management from Statements of Capabilities to validation at System Program Office level.
• Facilitate requirements working groups and ensure traceable alignment across systems and projects.
• Support modernization of systems engineering capabilities and tools for enterprise-level objectives.
• Define and implement enterprise data standards to support digital engineering and system integration.
• Participate actively in Agile teams and use Jira/Confluence for tracking and collaboration.
