Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of collections or repossessions experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and collateral sale regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs all consumer loan collection activities.
• Processes lien releases as accounts are paid off or collateral is exchanged.
• Serves as liaison with repossession agencies, auctions, attorneys, private investigators and outside vendors in handling repossession of collateral.
• Conducts investigations to locate debtors and/or collateral.
• Reviews and analyzes accounts approved for repossession, including payment history and delinquency verification.
• Oversees from approval to repossess through sale of collateral and related notifications.
• Investigates to locate collateral and debtors; complies with laws and guidelines.
• Travels to off-site locations for inspections and attends court when required.
