The American Heart Association offers an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Reporting Analyst, reporting to our National Center in Dallas, TX. This role can be based remotely.

Responsibilities

The Senior Reporting Analyst supports strategic and operational decision-making through data analysis, dashboard development, and business intelligence reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and analyzing reports to support decision-making, goal tracking, and strategic initiatives.
  • Designing, maintaining, and enhancing Tableau dashboards; leading coordination calls with stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Ensuring data integrity within Microsoft Dynamics CRM to facilitate effective reporting and automation.
  • Translating business needs into data and reporting solutions by collaborating with teams.
  • Providing insights and performing analysis for ad-hoc initiatives and leadership decisions.
  • Analyzing performance data related to organizational goals.
  • Tracking and analyzing historical data to identify trends and inform planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in data and reporting analytics.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Tableau, including filters, parameters, and calculations.
  • Familiarity with Tableau Desktop and Online, with a willingness to develop skills further.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle increased workload.
  • Proficiency in creating various chart types and applying visualization best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of integrating data from sources like CRM, Excel, and Smartsheet.
  • Interest or foundational experience in SQL.
  • Strong organizational, data management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 10%, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM systems for data storage and reporting.
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range is $75,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and geographic considerations. Our total rewards include:
