Job summary

WITF in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Senior Reporter to join our multimedia newsroom and help shape local journalism across our 19‑county region. You will dig deeper, edit and mentor a growing team, and expand coverage that informs and engages our neighbors.

You will report daily across digital, broadcast, and audio, identify important Central Pa issues, and collaborate with editors, reporters, producers, and partners to contribute to live coverage and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional journalism experience.
• Exceptional reporting, writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
• Strong news judgment and deadline management.
• Experience across digital, broadcast, and audio platforms.
• Collaborative mindset focused on community journalism.

Responsibilities

• Report daily, breaking and enterprise stories across digital, broadcast, and audio.
