KNXV, The E.W. Scripps ABC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks an Executive Reporter passionate about storytelling and community impact.

You will lead, mentor, and inspire reporters and MMJs, partnering with newsroom leaders to execute a content strategy rooted in authenticity and journalistic integrity. You will guide writers across platforms, shape editorial standards, and foster a culture where powerful stories are felt by audiences in one of the nation's fastest-growing cities.

Competenze

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
• Generally, 7+ years of experience in related field preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead, develop and enhance storytelling skills of reporters and MMJs.
• Collaborate with newsroom leaders to execute the content strategy with authentic storytelling.
• Oversee writing of stories for all platforms; provide timely feedback for improvement.
• Develop and supervise workflow strategies for multiple news programs and outlets.
• Ensure content adheres to journalistic standards and ethical guidelines.
• Deliver a vision and build trust among reporters, photographers and newsroom staff.
• May provide on-air, multi-platform coverage for breaking news as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
