Job summary

Primergy is seeking a Project Finance Manager in Oakland to lead execution of debt, tax equity, and equity financings for its solar and battery storage portfolio, reporting to the Head of Project Finance. This role combines strategic capital markets work with hands-on financial modeling and deal execution.

You will build complex financial models, coordinate cross-functional teams across origination, development, legal, controllership, tax, and operations, and maintain key lender relationships to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project finance or renewable energy.
• Direct experience supporting live project financing transactions with lenders, tax equity, or investment sponsors.
• Strong financial modeling skills and ability to structure complex financings.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution support for debt, tax equity, tax credit transfers, and structured financings.
• Lead financial modeling workflows and valuation analyses for solar and storage projects.
• Coordinate due diligence and documentation with financing counterparties.
• Drive cross-functional workstreams across commercial, legal, controllership, tax, and operations.
• Mentor junior team members and prepare investment committee materials.
• Build relationships with lenders, investors, and advisors to optimize financing outcomes.
• Support capital market strategy and future funding plans.
