Job summary

Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc is seeking a Renewable Senior Project Developer to own the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will lead site identification, feasibility, permitting, stakeholder engagement, financial structuring, and pre-construction handover.

The role requires advanced expertise in feasibility, regulatory processes, and project economics, with responsibility to mentor junior team members and represent the company externally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and professional certifications are a plus.
• Master's degree strongly preferred and PMP/LEED certification are valued.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and project management platforms is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead site identification and feasibility assessments for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Oversee permitting across jurisdictions and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Negotiate landowner, utility, and government agreements and close site control arrangements.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and progress reporting.
• Model project economics and structure commercial agreements including PPAs and interconnection agreements.
• Coordinate across engineering, environmental, legal, and finance teams to mitigate risks.
• Represent the company at public hearings and regulatory proceedings.
