An established industry player is seeking a Sr. Project Developer to lead wind and solar projects in the U.S. This role involves managing all development phases, from land control to project delivery, while fostering relationships with stakeholders and ensuring project milestones are met. As a Sr. Project Developer on Scout’s West Region Development team, you will be fully responsible for leading your U.S.-based wind and solar projects through all development phases with a focus on mid- to late-stage phases. You will establish land control, coordinate applications for interconnection, and facilitate environmental, permitting, and transmission reviews. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and profitable projects that meet all project milestones.
You will be the face of your projects, both externally and internally. Externally, you will build relationships with landowners, community members, regulators, and local government officials to gain project support:

The West Region has a primary focus on projects in the mid- to late development stages in the WECC and CAISO power markets in the U.S. You will report directly to the Director of the West Region and will work together and in parallel with other internal and external subject matter experts to progress the wind and solar projects.

Timeline and Location
We have some flexibility on the start date, targeting a late Q2/early Q3 start. The ideal candidate will be able to work out of our Boulder office. We will consider remote work arrangements, provided that the candidate is willing to travel to our Boulder office at least once per month.

Target base salary: $130,000 - $150,000
Attractive bonus potential.
