Job summary

The AES Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist, Renewable Energy to lead procurement for utility-scale solar projects nationwide. You will coordinate with engineering, project management, legal, finance, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of PV modules and racking systems.

This role involves optimizing procurement strategies, managing supplier documentation, and supporting regulatory compliance while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, or related industries.
• Knowledge of utility-scale renewable energy projects and solar technologies.
• Strong analytical and relationship-building skills for technical/business audiences.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI or data analytics platforms.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with renewable energy supply chain partners.
• Coordinate equipment purchasing and manage POs for PV modules and racking.
• Support procurement strategy with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Lead tracking, auditing, and data management of procurement activities.
