Job summary

TechSource is seeking a Remote Sensing & Nuclear Activity Detection Engineer to support DOE/NNSA mission-critical reviews and conferences. You will conduct technical analysis and advise on detecting nuclear-related activities from stand‑off ranges, using radiological, spectral, thermal, seismic, neutron, gamma modalities and remote sensing platforms.

This full-time onsite role in Washington, DC requires deep expertise, strong writing, and collaboration to identify, characterize, and assess

Qualifications

• Active Q or Top Secret clearance.
• 20+ years of direct nuclear detection, remote sensing, or non-proliferation work experience, DOE SRS tritium ops experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Deep knowledge of nuclear signatures and sensing modalities (gamma/neutron, hyperspectral, thermal IR).
• Understanding of satellite or airborne sensing systems or space-based detection.
• Strong modeling, analysis, and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to assist program team with various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide tritium expertise to the NA-192.1 Director and their team.
• Advise and recommend solutions regarding tritium operations at the SRS site.
