Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience applying ML to large-scale problems.
• Deep knowledge of ML, optimization, and data analysis techniques.
• Hands-on experience with deep neural networks in production at scale.
• Solid engineering and coding skills.
• Track record of well-developed execution and timely delivery of projects.
• M.S. or higher in Machine Learning, Math, Physics or similar. PhD a plus.
• Experience in ad optimization stack (targeting, ranking, bidding) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain machine learning models integral to our production decision-making system.
• Adopt or build technologies for training and serving ML models (e.g. support large models, increase developer velocity).
• Monitor the latest ML research for ideas the team could try.
• Optimize ML pipelines – build and scale pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
• Model monitoring & improvement – track performance, detect drift, and automate retraining.
• Explain statistical and ML concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with a team of world-class engineers and uphold engineering excellence.
