Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced M365 Domain Migration Architect to lead large-scale Active Directory and Microsoft 365 migrations. You will design domain migration strategies, implement hybrid identity, and drive transformation programs across identity, security, and collaboration platforms.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams, building automation with PowerShell, and utilizing Quest Migration Manager and ODM to streamline migrations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure and enterprise migration engagements.
• Extensive expertise in Active Directory architecture, administration, and domain migrations.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale Microsoft 365 migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of AD DS, DNS, Sites and Services, trusts, GPOs, and OU design.
• Experience with Hybrid Identity, Entra ID, Azure IAM, and SSO implementations.
• Hands-on expertise with Quest Migration Manager and Quest ODM for AD.
• Experience automating migration and operations using PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams migrations.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Azure Virtual Desktop, imaging, endpoint mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute forest/domain migration strategies for large enterprises.
• Assess and migrate GPOs, OUs, trusts, DNS, and AD services.
• Develop migration and coexistence architectures with cutover and pilot plans.
• Lead identity migration activities including SID History, Kerberos, NTLM, SPNs.
• Integrate Hybrid Identity with Entra ID and Azure IAM; support SSO.
• Utilize Quest tools for AD migrations and automate tasks with PowerShell.
• Lead workplace tech migrations: SCCM/Intune, Autopilot, Imaging, packaging.
• Drive 365 migrations: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Ensure IAM security with Defender for Endpoint/Cloud Apps and DLP policies.
