Northern Rivers Family of Services is seeking a Senior Home-based Crisis Intervention Specialist to support families and youth in crisis through in-home services and crisis de-escalation. You’ll work with parents to implement behavior management techniques and help children communicate their needs.

The role involves short-term intensive intervention (up to 6 weeks), remote and community-based work, and on-call crisis support for your caseload. Training and supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field is required.
• At least 1+ years of experience in crisis intervention.
• Valid NYS driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Engage and build positive relationships with youth and families served.
• Complete mandatory trainings and adhere to program guidelines.
• Demonstrate de-escalation skills and crisis response.
• Collaborate with HBCI team, clinicians, supervisors, and support staff.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory standards.
