Defenders of Wildlife is seeking a Senior Attorney in Denver, CO to lead complex environmental litigation and supervise staff within the Biodiversity Law Center. You will advance conservation goals through federal environmental and natural resources law.

You will work across disciplines, drafting legal documents, and communicating policy positions to diverse audiences while guiding junior attorneys and fellows.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience; 5 years supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a substitute for the listed requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative litigation strategies and litigate cases under federal environmental law.
• Collaborate across law, science, policy, and communications to draft comments and speak at hearings.
• Advise staff on legal questions and legislative matters.
