Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Experienced Clinical Research Associate for sponsor-dedicated monitoring. The role emphasizes remote work with substantial travel to sites across the US, up to 75%.

You will perform on-site and remote monitoring, ensure regulatory compliance, and support data integrity across trials. Responsibilities include site qualification, initiation, monitoring, ISF/TMF stewardship, and training of site staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to embrace new technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 75% on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, initiation, monitoring, interim activities and close-out visits, on-site or remotely, ensuring regulatory and protocol compliance.
• Verifies informed consent and protects patient confidentiality, assessing factors affecting safety and data integrity.
• Reviews ISF and TMF, ensures archiving per local guidelines; supports recruitment and data tracking.
• Conducts data review, query resolution, and uses tools to support data capture and quality monitoring.
• May liaise with site personnel, attend Investigator Meetings, and train junior staff as needed.
• Ensures site staff training and compliance with SOPs and project requirements.
