Job summary

ITnova is hiring a Cloud Architecture Team Lead to support the ADAW for PANYNJ. You will design and lead cloud-based data architectures using Azure services such as Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, and Databricks, while guiding the data engineering team.

You will establish security controls, data governance, and scalable platform standards to ensure reliability, security, and performance across data integration and BI workloads. This is a full-time remote role with EST hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the cloud data architecture and technology strategy for the ADAW.
• Design and oversee a scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing cloud-based data warehouse platform.
• Establish standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, lakehouse design, and data retention.
• Lead the integration of data from APIs, batch feeds, streaming sources, and SFTP file transfers.
• Establish API management and secure data transfer standards and best practices.
• Implement security architecture, including IAM, RBAC, and key management.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team.
• Ensure the platform architecture supports evolving data integration, analytics, and BI requirements.
