Job summary

Solugenix is seeking an Autosys administrator for a remote opportunity focused on enterprise workload automation. You will manage Autosys environments, including configuration, security, agents, upgrades, and platform troubleshooting in AWS, EC2, or Kubernetes (EKS).

The role requires collaboration with development, operations and infrastructure teams to support automation, monitoring, incident resolution, and cloud-based initiatives.

Qualifications

• Overall 10+ years of Autosys experience in production environments.
• Experience creating, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scheduled jobs.
• Strong understanding of job dependencies, batch cycles, and workflow automation.
• Foundational exposure to cloud, containers, Linux, and infra automation.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch AutoSys components.
• Administer the AutoSys application server, scheduler, databases, agents, and clients.
• Configure agents and troubleshoot agent connectivity.
• Manage high availability, failover, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot scheduler, database, app server, network, and auth issues.
• Analyze AutoSys logs and resolve platform-level incidents.
• Manage security, credentials, access, certificates, and service accounts.
• Perform performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Work with JIL, calendars, variables, and job dependencies.
• Support production changes, releases, upgrades, and incident response.
• Write Shell, Python, PowerShell automation scripts.
