Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Senior Reliability Test Engineer for the Environmental Simulation Lab to lead environmental and electrical tests, develop test plans, analyze data, and deliver compliant reports in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/materials background, 10+ years in environmental testing, and hands-on use of climate and test equipment. It offers strong benefits and opportunities for advanced training in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental testing, sustaining engineering, or reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with climatic, mechanical, and corrosion test equipment.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, test automation, and analysis tools (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Minitab, Python).
• Familiarity with failure analysis, predictive maintenance, and SPC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain environmental testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures and test anomalies.
• Ensure ISO 17025, ASTM, MIL-STD-810, IEC 60068, ISTA compliance.
• Assist root cause analysis (RCCA, FMEA, FTA, Six Sigma).
• Develop and update SOPs for maintenance and testing.
• Train lab personnel on proper test setup and troubleshooting techniques.
• Collaborate with customers to address technical inquiries and review test plans.
