Job summary

Crescent Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Reliability and Maintainability Engineer in Richardson, TX to design, analyze, and test reliability features across development and existing rugged systems.

You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimize designs from components to full systems, working with DoD-aligned processes and security-clearance requirements. The role emphasizes MTBF/MTTR metrics, FRACAS, FMEA/FMECA, HALT, and performance under stringent environments.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with relevant R&M experience as specified in the job description.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-338, MIL-HDBK-1629A, MIL-HDBK-470A, MIL-HDBK-472.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering perspective across program lifecycle.
• Develop and assign R&M requirements for program phases.
• Perform reliability analyses and create documentation per military standards.
• Review designs and approve changes.
• Conduct FRACAS, FMEA/FMECA, and root-cause investigations.
• Support environmental and HALT testing procedures.
• Mentor engineers in reliability practices.
