Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Integration Engineer to lead technical work on electric power protection and automation systems. You will engage with design teams, vendors, utilities, and customers to translate requirements into concrete electrical designs and protective relays settings.

You will simulate system conditions in labs, assist during installation and commissioning, and support field engineers. Strong communication and problem solving are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduates with BSEE/BSME and extensive protection/automation design and testing experience.
• Experience with protection relaying, project coordination and field support.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NERC, IEEE, OSHA, NFPA and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert level knowledge in electric power protection and automation.
• Collaborate with design, vendor, utility, and customers to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Develop protective relay settings, control schematics, and protection logic.
• Support NERC compliance assessments and site field activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and assist in project billing and sales support.
• Travel for installations and commissioning as required.
