Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Reliability Engineering Lead in Etters, PA. You will drive product robustness, ensure compliance with standards, and lead cross-functional efforts to prevent failures across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing test sequences for long-term reliability, mentoring engineers, and leading reliability test plans for new product introductions and engineering changes. Collaboration with design, quality, and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, materials science, or related field.
• 5+ years of reliability experience or 10+ years in quality with 2+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of reliability prediction models and field return data analysis.
• Experience with data analysis software and testing of high-speed electrical connectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability efforts to drive product robustness and compliance with standards.
• Develop, plan, and execute reliability test plans for new products and changes.
• Perform FMEA, DfR, and HALT/HASS analyses to improve robustness.
• Define qualification strategies aligned with customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Design, Test, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to address risks early.
• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders and customers.
• Mentor and develop reliability engineering staff and technicians.
