Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Reliability Engineer for its R&D client in Marietta, Ohio. You will develop and document reliability plans aligned with product requirements and regulatory expectations, and collaborate with design and test teams to define test strategies for cold storage products.

You will lead DFMEA activities, support verification and validation, and create standardized reliability methods and procedures to enable repeatable, high-quality evaluations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years reliability engineering experience
• 3+ years electromechanical product development experience
• Experience with HVAC/R, refrigeration, or thermal systems
• Experience with regulated product testing (UL, IEC, NSF, Energy Star, DIN, or similar)
• Hands-on test method development and accelerated life testing
• Data acquisition systems and automated testing
• Lean / PPI methodologies exposure

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability plans aligned with product requirements, milestones and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with R&D to define test strategies, protocols and acceptance criteria for cold storage products.
• Support verification and validation testing with reliability coverage and data collection.
• Create and maintain standardized reliability methods, test procedures and design guidance.
• Lead DFMEA activities and contribute to broader product risk management efforts.
