Job summary

DSJ Global seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer for a large-scale manufacturing facility in Lafayette, Indiana. You will partner with maintenance and operations to improve uptime, support capital projects, and drive reliability initiatives across the site.

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to support equipment reliability, asset performance, and long-term operational stability within a large-scale production environment. This role will partner closely with maintenance and operations teams to improve uptime, support capital projects, and drive reliability-focused initiatives across the facility.

What You'll Do

• Support capital projects ranging from small equipment improvements to investments exceeding $1M, ensuring reliability and maintainability are incorporated into equipment and process design.
• Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, serving as an equipment subject matter expert when appropriate.
• Contribute to plant-wide reliability strategies focused on equipment uptime, operational stability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support for site projects, equipment installation activities, and compliance initiatives involving OSHA, ASME, NFPA, and Process Safety Management (PSM).

Key Qualifications

• Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of chemical unit operations and Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred but not required.
