Job summary
Chenega MIOS in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Release Manager / Scrum Master to lead Agile software delivery and enterprise release management for mission-critical programs.
You will orchestrate release plans, manage cross-team dependencies, and drive continuous improvement in DevSecOps environments. The role requires extensive Agile leadership, superb collaboration with Product Owners, and the ability to ensure timely, secure software releases while mentoring Scrum Teams and advancing Agile
Qualifications
- CS or related technical degree required.
- 8+ years in software development or release management.
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent.
- 10+ years supporting enterprise software programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute integrated release plans across multiple Agile teams.
- Coordinate release activities including planning, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Manage release schedules, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
- Facilitate release planning sessions, readiness reviews, and Go/No-Go meetings.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations to ensure successful releases.
- Mentor Scrum Masters and Agile teams to improve maturity and delivery.
- Monitor release health and provide executive status updates.
