Tata Consultancy Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Release & Deployment Engineer to manage software releases across development, test, staging, and production environments. The role focuses on planning, packaging, validation, and rollback while driving CI/CD automation.

You will collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams to ensure successful releases and minimal disruption. Strong scripting and ITIL knowledge are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, Deployment Engineering, or Production Support.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of ITIL change management processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of deployment architectures and environment management.
• Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and production incidents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate application releases across environments.
• Manage end-to-end deployment activities including packaging, implementation, validation, and rollback.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infra, Security, and Business teams for release success.
• Support change management processes, CAB approvals, and release documentation.
• Perform production validation, smoke testing, monitoring, and incident triage.
• Maintain release calendars, deployment schedules, and metrics.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks via scripting.
• Ensure environment readiness, configuration consistency, and dependency coordination.
• Support root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement.
