Job summary

Capital Farm Credit, based in Texas, seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to manage relationships, originating and approving loans within delegated authority in the Pampa area. You will develop portfolios for commercial and real estate loans, review financials, and collaborate with credit analysts to ensure risk controls.

With 5+ years in agricultural lending and an active NMLS license, you will expand lending opportunities while supporting member relationships and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience.
• Registration required as a Mortgage Loan Officer under the National Mortgage Licensing System.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships and seek new accounts, including large and complex ones.
• Recommend or approve loans within delegated authority in the territory.
• Develop and manage loan portfolios and originations in the service area.
• Design and implement sales strategies to increase client satisfaction and portfolio growth.
• Assist training of less senior relationship managers and credit personnel.
• Operate with decision-making latitude under minimal supervision.
• Develop new business and service existing commercial and real estate customers.
• Review loan analysis and ensure compliance with policies; submit loan requests exceeding authority for approval.
• Collaborate with credit analysts on larger loans.
• Establish relationships with agricultural producers and rural landowners to expand lending opportunities.
