Path Robotics Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on Reinforcement Learning to design, implement, and optimize RL algorithms for robotic control in dynamic environments. You will work with cross‑functional teams to test and deploy solutions for robotic systems, including sim-to-real pipelines and safety protocols.

The role supports Columbus, OH or remote work, requiring strong ML fundamentals, Python, and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow in production settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in CS/Robotics/ML or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing and deploying reinforcement learning on real systems.
• Proficiency in Python and DL frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with simulation environments MuJoCo, Isaac Gym.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate RL algorithms for robotic control and planning.
• Integrate RL policies with robot control systems under real‑time constraints.
• Collaborate with perception to fuse RL with vision and sensor data.
• Build sim‑to‑real pipelines with domain randomization and transfer learning.
• Run experiments on physical robots and ensure safety protocols.
