Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks a skilled Reinforcement Learning Engineer to design, train, and deploy RL-based decision systems at scale. You will work across teams to productionize RL models, develop robust reward models, and ensure stability in live environments.

Ideal candidates have deep RL research experience, strong Python and deep learning framework skills, and hands-on use of RL libraries. This is a 100% remote role in the United States requiring 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field OR equivalent applied experience
• 6+ years of RL research and engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern deep learning frameworks
• Hands-on experience with major RL libraries or in-house RL stack
• Solid understanding of probability, optimization, and RL theory
• Experience designing and tuning reward functions in non-trivial environments
• Experience training neural policies on GPU clusters

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy RL-based systems at scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize RL models
• Experiment with reward shaping and environment simulation to improve performance
• Publish or ship impactful RL work and iterate based on feedback
