Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare revenue analysis for system-wide programs and monitor revenue budgets
- Review government agency publications to assess the impact of regulatory changes on reimbursement
- Serve as a representative on various advisory groups related to Medicaid and healthcare policy
- Assist with the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and coordinate data requests
- Monitor processes to ensure accurate payment for Medicare/Medicaid and request adjustments as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance or a related field
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in reimbursement, including preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
- Strong expertise with Medicare and Medicaid regulations in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with data management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey revenue cycle issues effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis specific to healthcare
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce high-quality analytical results
- Familiarity with third-party payer regulations and strategies to enhance reimbursement rates
- Knowledge of Graduate Medical Education programs and related compliance regulations
