Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare revenue analysis for system-wide programs and monitor revenue budgets
  • Review government agency publications to assess the impact of regulatory changes on reimbursement
  • Serve as a representative on various advisory groups related to Medicaid and healthcare policy
  • Assist with the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and coordinate data requests
  • Monitor processes to ensure accurate payment for Medicare/Medicaid and request adjustments as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance or a related field
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in reimbursement, including preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
  • Strong expertise with Medicare and Medicaid regulations in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with data management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey revenue cycle issues effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis specific to healthcare
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce high-quality analytical results
  • Familiarity with third-party payer regulations and strategies to enhance reimbursement rates
  • Knowledge of Graduate Medical Education programs and related compliance regulations
