Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Advanced Reimbursement Analyst to identify and collect underpayments from Medicare/Medicaid and other payors, ensuring accurate documentation and contract compliance. The role is hybrid, with two days in either Lewisville, TX or El Segundo, CA and three days remote.

You will review payments, stay current on Medicare/Medicaid changes, and maintain thorough documentation while protecting privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Medicare/Medicaid underpayments and denials.
• Experience with managed care payments and payer contracts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and collect underpayments from Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payors.
• Document activity affecting accounts and reconcile per contract terms.
• Maintain confidential patient and client information in line with laws.
• Produce periodic status reports for management.
