Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its Regulatory Affairs and Policy Legal Team in Washington, D.C. The role advises on banking regulatory, legal and policy issues and interfaces with regulators and industry bodies.

The successful candidate will apply knowledge of Basel III, liquidity, reporting and capital rules, provide regulatory advocacy, and support enterprise-wide initiatives while collaborating across the team.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of industry-relevant legal experience.
• Experience advising on prudential banking regulations and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise on statutes, regulations, and guidance governing PNC’s business.
• Advise on prudential regulations including Basel III capital, liquidity and tailoring.
• Advise on regulatory reporting instructions (Call report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14).
• Develop comment letters, advocacy materials, and policy positions; interact with trade associations.
