Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced Global Compliance professional to drive remediation initiatives across the GMLRO office and coordinate with regional teams.

You will support governance forums, prepare oversight reporting, and map financial crime obligations across multiple jurisdictions, leveraging deep AML/CFT expertise and a collaborative, global mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial crime compliance / AML.
• Experience building or overhauling AML governance frameworks, policies, and governance structures (Board, RCC).
• Experience handling SARs/STRs and regulatory investigations.
• Deep knowledge of global AML/CFT frameworks, FATF, KYC/KYB, EDD, and sanctions.
• Background at a global crypto exchange, bank, or payments company with multi-entity structures.
• Ability to influence without authority across jurisdictions and standardise processes.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the development and implementation of key remediation initiatives across Compliance and supporting Binance’s Global Money Laundering Reporting Officer (GMLRO) office


• Engage in special projects and initiatives, acting as liaison between global Compliance functions and regional Compliance teams


• Support the execution of various Compliance governance forums and oversight programs


• Prepare program oversight reporting and assist in development of board reporting for global and local entities


• Oversee obligation mapping and horizon scanning for Financial Crime risks within Binance’s various regional functions

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in financial crime compliance / AML, ideally at a global or multi-jurisdictional organisation


• Hands-on experience building or overhauling AML governance frameworks, policies, assurance programmes, and governance committee structures (Board, RCC)


• Experience handling SARs/STRs, high-risk customer decisions, and regulatory investigations


• Deep knowledge of global AML/CFT frameworks and FATF standards, including KYC/KYB, EDD, transaction monitoring, and sanctions


• Background at a global crypto exchange, bank, or payments company with complex multi-entity structures, plus working knowledge of AML technology, typologies, and financial crime risk assessments


• Able to influence without authority, navigate jurisdictional tensions, and standardise without overriding local autonomy


• Track record of building collaborative relationships across cultures and time zones, and comfortable in a decentralised, matrixed structure
