Job summary

The Sr. Business Consultant at Health Care Service Corporation plays a key role in supporting regulatory compliance and business operations for IFM health insurance products.

You will lead regulatory filings, coordinate with Legal, Product, Network and operations teams, and respond to regulator inquiries to ensure ongoing compliance. This role also drives strategic projects, process improvements, and timely execution of critical initiatives, with a hybrid on-site schedule as part of HCSC's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, business operations or relevant health care industry experience.
• 3 years of experience leading with large and complex multi-million dollar projects.
• Experience communicating with senior management from multiple divisions.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations.
• Problem resolution experience and skills.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Experience interpreting business and financial information
• Negotiations skills.
• Verbal and written communications skills including establishing working relationships across departments, preparing presentations to senior management, and establishing team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex regulatory filings and regulatory filing activities.
• Develop, submit, and maintain benefit booklets and SBC documents and other regulatory materials.
• Partner with Legal, Product, Network and operations teams to gather and validate filing requirements.
• Respond to regulator inquiries and ensure compliance with evolving state and federal regulations.
• Provide leadership on strategic projects and drive process improvements.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of critical business initiatives.
