A leading vision care company seeks a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Specialist responsible for overseeing the Compliance Program. The role involves analyzing healthcare regulations, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with laws. The Sr. Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation and management of the organization’s Compliance Program. This role involves developing and executing all aspects of the Compliance Program, including problem identification, monitoring, oversight, and investigation of compliance concerns. The specialist supports the Annual Compliance Work Plan, leads special projects, and stays updated on regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include researching, analyzing, and interpreting regulations applicable to Federal, State, and local laws; facilitating regulatory policy implementation; participating in audits and investigations; evaluating compliance with client and regulatory requirements; and maintaining documentation of compliance activities.
The role also involves developing reports, supporting the creation of compliance documents and training materials, and maintaining knowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations. The specialist assists business partners in understanding regulatory requirements and communicates compliance concerns to leadership.
Job Specifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, with a Master’s preferred. A minimum of six years of experience in healthcare compliance is necessary. Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) must be obtained within 24 months of hire. The candidate should have demonstrated knowledge of Managed Care Compliance, healthcare statutes, and excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred skills include expertise in DSNP, Medicare, Medicaid programs. The role offers a salary range of $84,000 to $141,750, with potential bonuses and benefits.
