Job summary

Meyer Sound is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer to coordinate product safety, environmental, regulatory, and market-access compliance across development and manufacturing. The role works with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and external labs to ensure certifiable products.

Qualifications include a technical degree and hands-on experience with UL/NRTL, IEC, EN, FCC, EU schemes, and global labeling requirements. This exempt, full-time position is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical/electronic product compliance in manufacturing or development.
• Proven ability to coordinate with UL/NRTL, IEC, FCC, EU schemes and certification bodies.
• Ability to read standards, reports, declarations, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with organized, audit-ready records.

Responsibilities

• Manage product safety and global certification activities for professional audio products.
• Coordinate submissions, test plans, and schedules with agencies, labs, and internal teams.
• Support RoHS, WEEE, packaging, labeling, and supplier declarations across regions.
• Maintain compliance trackers, technical files, and deliverable schedules.
• Provide status updates to Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and leadership.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting compliance and market access.
