Job summary

The Texas Water Company is actively seeking a Sr Manager of Regulatory Affairs to lead the regulatory strategy for water and wastewater operations in Texas. You will manage rate cases, financial modeling, and stakeholder engagement with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) to ensure filings align with company goals and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced financial credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex financial, economic, and regulatory analyses for revenue requirements and rate structures.
• Supports rate case proceedings and filings related to rates, including preparation of filings and testimony for the PUCT.
• Collaborates with FP&A to ensure budgets reflect expected revenue and expenses.
• Liaises with PUCT and external consultants on studies and regulatory matters.
• Prepares annual financial reports to the PUCT and validates data with cross-functional teams.
