Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center – Pharmacy Retail in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist under supervision in processing medication orders and preparing medications, supporting quality pharmacy services for patients and departments.

This full-time role offers a 1.0 FTE schedule with days/evenings, a sign-on bonus of 10K, and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off after a 90-day introductory period.

Qualifications

• Education (or equivalent years of experience): High school graduation or equivalent.
• State of FL Registered Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Technician Certification. Continued employment is contingent upon successful Pharmacy Technician Certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Florida Pharmacy Intern Permit may substitute for the above.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing medication orders under supervision.
• Prepare medications and support pharmacy operations.
• Perform clerical and technical tasks to support quality pharmacy services.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist assistance in processing medication orders medication preparation and performs clerical or other technical functions which support the provision of quality pharmacy services to patients and other departments.

Job Qualifications

Education (or equivalent years of experience):

• High school graduation or equivalent.

Certifications:

• State of FL Registered Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Technician Certification. Continued employment is contingent upon successful Pharmacy Technician Certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Florida Pharmacy Intern Permit may substitute for the above.
