Job summary

AndHealth is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse (RN) to guide patients through their journey at our Indiana partner location. You will train and mentor other RNs, uphold a patient-first culture, and ensure efficient daily operations across clinical and administrative tasks.

The role requires active RN licensure and BLS, with experience in ambulatory settings and strong EMR skills. You will work onsite at the CHC partner, collaborating with providers and care teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing required.
• American Heart Association BLS or equivalent.
• Hands-on nursing experience in ambulatory/clinic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for one or multiple sites, mentoring RNs.
• Lead with empathy to champion a patient-first culture.
• Prepare for daily schedules and resolve tasks by end of shift.
• Be first point of contact for RNs and Medical Assistants on clinical questions.
• Serve as expert on EHR and clinical equipment; troubleshoot charting issues.
• Support operations leadership with quality and training needs.
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure stocking and cleanliness.
• Receive and route test results; track patient medications.
• Room patients, check vitals, and communicate with providers.
• Assist providers with patient procedures as directed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Complete routine forms; maintain chart accuracy.
• Perform lab tests and handle specimen prep per CLIA protocols.
• Handle triage calls, schedule offsite tests, and referrals.
• Take inventory of medications and clinic supplies.
• Handle front office duties as needed; adhere to policies.
• Examples: referral queue management, care navigation for virtual/in-person, mobile phlebotomy, PCP collaboration.
• Backup coverage for peers as needed.
