Job summary

Mohave County's Public Health Nutrition Services Division within the WIC program seeks a Registered Dietitian to lead clinic operations, supervise staff, and deliver nutrition services for women, infants, and children. The role blends office duties with direct client interaction in a fast-paced community clinic setting.

The RD will oversee program coordination, provide high-quality counseling, and support program goals across Mohave County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in Public Health Nutrition.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk nutrition counseling to WIC clients and follow-up as required.
• Coordinate nutrition education activities for maternal and child health programs, cardiovascular risk assessments and interventions.
• Plan and implement programming related to contract requirements.
• Supervise assigned professional staff and evaluate performance.
