Summary

ValidaTek is searching for a Senior Registered Communications Distribution Designer to lead the planning and development of an advanced cable infrastructure supporting a large DoD IT infrastructure program providing a common view for all enterprise-wide users.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

1. 10+ years of experience as an RCDD.
2. 3+ years of experience as a senior or lead RCDD in planning and designing cable infrastructure in a cleared DoD environment.
3. Performed site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes.
4. Maintained Inside Plant cable infrastructure to include conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and all associated.
5. Developed EIPs required for installation of cable racks, wiring of racks, and testing required during installation.
6. Demonstrates current knowledge on codes and technologies appropriate to telecommunications and building technologies and the design/construction industry.
7. Demonstrated outstanding mathematics and IT abilities.
8. Must have Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification.
9. Must have an active Secret clearance.
10. All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $50,594.73/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $84,324.56/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
