Responsibilities
- Work closely with division organizations (engineering, sales, marketing) within KLA and with customer engineers outside KLA to provide high‑level application support of complex overlay measurement systems.
- Manage in‑house customer demonstrations and head‑to‑head activities at customer sites; conduct new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases to drive tool sales.
- Design experiments to characterize tool/sub‑component performance, demonstrate product value in alpha testing, beta testing and pilot tool support during the ramp phase to enable product penetration and adoption at customer facilities.
- Develop recipes to model complex optical applications and optimize tool performance.
- Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineers, leading and coordinating remote/local troubleshooting.
- Characterize next‑generation state‑of‑the‑art overlay measurement products.
- Design test plans, collect and analyze data, and publish results and recommendations in applications notes and best‑known methods.
- Form training materials and transfer new production knowledge and application capabilities to worldwide application support team.
- Work closely with division system and algorithm team to develop software offline tools for data analysis and feature development.
- Focused customers include Intel and others.
Qualifications
- Must have MS/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Material Science or related fields and a strong technical background.
- Preferred work experience in semiconductor processing or equipment industry.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Must be self‑driven and a strong team player.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 5 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 10 years.
Primary Location: USA-OR-Hillsboro-Beaverton-KLA
Base Pay Range: $119,000.00 - $202,300.00 annually.
