Job summary

Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) in McLean, VA seeks a senior strategist to lead cross-IC planning and policy efforts. You will coordinate with senior policymakers to align resources with mission objectives and prepare briefings for executive leadership and USG officials.

The role requires expert leadership, advanced analytical and communication skills, and the ability to drive enterprise-wide strategic plans and investments across IC elements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships with senior policymakers to coordinate strategy development.
• Lead, plan, and prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for leadership and USG officials.
• Oversee development of strategic planning documents supporting national security interests.
• Develop guidance for resource allocation and investment planning for staff.
• Create near/mid/long term strategy documents for needs and investments.
• Engage IC leadership on strategic priorities, gaps, and cross-IC interdependencies to link resources to strategy.
• Promote a culture of strategic planning and communicate priorities and impact across the IC.
• Partner with ODNI staff and IC elements to implement mission and enterprise objectives.
• Advance outreach to inform strategy with insights from government, industry, and partners.
• Provide analysis to align IC plans with strategic objectives and assess progress.
