Mars Snacking North America is seeking a Sr. Regional Project Engineer to lead and deliver advanced controls, automation, and digital projects across multiple sites in Cary, KC, Jackson and Cincinnati.

The role emphasizes designing and implementing electrical, controls, and Factory IT systems, while driving project scope, budget, and schedule adherence. Up to 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or relevant Engineering.
• 5-10+ years' experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry.
• In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise (controls, process, packaging).
• Up to 50% travel requirement depending on project demands.
• Master's degree in Controls/Electrical/Electronics preferred; MBA or PMP certification.

• Develop control systems for automating manufacturing processes and packaging systems.
• Deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.
• Design control systems concepts, functional and equipment specifications.
• Oversee modifications, installation and integration of electrical, control, Factory IT and digital systems.
• Ensure delivery of scope, time, budget, and cash flow; maintain alignment with project objectives.
• Plan and lead cross-functional project activities and apply appropriate technologies.
