Job summary

CoolSys in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to repair and overhaul commercial refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment. You will service compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality work.

The role requires EPA certification, OK Journeyman LIC, and 5+ years of experience, plus on-call availability. We offer $40.00-$65.00 per hour DOE, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems; experience with display cases and walk-in boxes is helpful.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and overhauls refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair work on equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing malfunctions.
• Test systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Work on minor construction or startup of new installations.
• Drive the company vehicle safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
